There are miles of safe, clean, sandy beaches at Great Yarmouth
and within the Great Yarmouth area.

Great Yarmouth features masses of indoor and outdoor
attractions and activities for all ages and tastes.

Great Yarmouth is a great place for shopping with traditional
high street chain stores, seaside shops, and one of the largest
open-air markets in the country. More serious shoppers can
travel to Norwich, thirty minutes drive away, where among a
larger number of shops a new shopping outlet Chaperfield was
recently opened which has an array of designer shops.
- The Norfolk Broads:
Great Yarmouth lies at the gateway to the Norfolk broads, the
famous network of waterways, which provide opportunities for
boating, fishing and bird watching.

- Nightlife:
Nightlife in Great Yarmouth is a colourful mixture of illuminations,
night clubs, casinos, cinemas and an abundance of restaurants catering
for every taste. In the summer there are free, weekly firework
displays on the pier.
- History:
Several local attractions highlight the history of Great Yarmouth.
A visit to the Time and Tide museum and the smokehouses and
potteries will satisfy any budding historian! Further a field
there are several local railway lines operating steam trains.
- Events:
Great Yarmouth hosts special events ranging from fetes to
festivals,
carnivals and firework displays throughout the summer season.
